These small groups are held on different days/evenings. These trainings are suited for those new to narrative practice and suitable for those that want to go deeper in the practice of narrative therapy. Please contact us to get more information.
Policies
Refund/Cancellation policy: California Family Institute shall provide a full refund for tickets, purchased in advance, up to 7 working days before each continuing education course or program, upon request in writing. No refund will be given for cancellations with less than 7 working days notice in writing.
Grievances: If a participant has any questions or to report a grievance, they may contact California Family Institute at [email protected]. Grievances shall be submitted by email and acknowledgement of receipt sent within 24 hours. The Program Administrator will review the grievance and respond back to the participant within 72 hours. California Family Institute will respond to any legitimate grievance in the following manner. 1. The participants will be asked to put their concerns in writing. 2. If the grievance concerns a speaker, the content presented by the speaker, or the style of presentation, the individual filing the grievance will be asked to put his/her comments in written format. The Conference Director will then pass on the comments to the speaker, assuring the confidentiality of the grieved individual. 3. If the grievance concerns a workshop offering, its content, level of presentation, or the facilities in which the workshop was offered, the Conference Director will mediate and will be the final arbitrator. If the participant requests action, the Conference Director will: a. attempt to move the participant to another workshop or b. provide a credit for a subsequent year's workshop or c. provide a partial or full refund of the workshop fee. d. Actions 3b and 3c will require a written note, documenting the grievance, for record keeping purposes. The note need not be signed by the grieved individual. 4. If the grievance concerns California Family Institute’s CE program, in a specific regard, the Conference Director will attempt to arbitrate.
ADA Compliance: California Family Institute will make every reasonable effort to provide for those participants with special needs. Potential participants are notified at the point of purchasing tickets for the proposed continuing education workshop that they are entitled to request reasonable accommodations for their special needs. Continuing education courses and programs will be fully accessible, complying with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (1990).
Course Certificates:
Course completion certificates will be awarded at the end of the course in exchange for a completed evaluation survey form.
